Learn Conservation by Living It.

Are you a student who dreams of swapping classroom walls for forest trails? Who wants to move beyond textbooks and be a part of real, active wildlife conservation?

At SEAT, our Internship Program is your gateway into the wild world of scientific research, field conservation, and community action.

More Than an Internship, It’s a Field School for Future Conservationists

Our internship programs are open throughout the year, subject to the availability of our mentors and projects. We aim to empower budding researchers, biologists, and conservation leaders by providing them with a rare opportunity to be directly involved in our active scientific research and human-wildlife conflict mitigation programs.

This is not about making coffee or filing papers. This is about camera traps, pugmark tracking, biodiversity surveys, village interactions, and learning how to save an ecosystem from the ground up.

Who Can Apply?

We welcome passionate and dedicated college students from all disciplines — Wildlife Biology, Zoology, Forestry, Environmental Science, Social Work, and any other field related to conservation.

College students can apply for an academic internship through their college/institution. If you have a genuine interest in nature and a willingness to work hard in challenging field conditions, you are eligible.

What You Will Gain

  • Hands-on experience in active scientific research and field conservation projects
  • Direct mentorship from experienced conservationists and field biologists
  • Deep understanding of forest dynamics and human-wildlife conflict resolution
  • Opportunity to work across the ecologically rich landscapes of Maharashtra
  • Certificate will be provided on successful completion of the internship
